Pluto: Cave Mission Prologue
A downloadable game for Windows
Take to the stars as the mercenary Pluto in a mission that will change his life forever!
Contracted by the megacorp New World, it's up to Pluto to investigate what's left of a routine planetoid inspection gone wrong - and recover anything he might happen to find in the process. But neither he nor New World could guess just how much this job will tie them together.
Features
- Platforming for players of any skill level
- Fun and unique enemy designs
- A simple but engaging weapon system that rewards you for defeating enemies
- Numerous upgrades, collectibles, and lore. People like lore, right?
- Keyboard and controller support
How long is this game?
Short answer? Not very long, it isn't called a prologue for nothing. It's hard to judge play time being a solo dev and knowing where everything is out the gate, but my best estimate is 30 - 60 minutes for the average player.
Wait, this is a prologue? Does that mean there will be more? Should I just wait for the more to be out?
Yes, hopefully, and please don't!
Think of Pluto: Cave Mission Prologue as a self-contained demo. This is a standalone experience, but I hope to be able to expand on everything and make a "full" game in the near future. I don't plan on adding any additional content to this game, and the "full" game I hope to make in the future will continue from the end of this game, so don't miss out!
Control Options
You can play with keyboard and mouse or with any standard controller! (If your controller doesn't seem to work, let me know and I'll see what I can do!) Controls cannot be customized, but the controls also aren't very complex, and a simple diagram of the controls can be viewed at any time in the Options menu.
Who made this, anyway?
Pluto: Cave Mission Prologue is developed entirely by one person: thatjoshoverthere, the person writing this entire page! Hello! This game has been a passion project of mine off-and-on for two years now, and with it being the first game I've ever made, it's impossible to overstate how thrilled I am that it's finally out in the world. I hope you enjoy it!
